As a professional trainer, motivator, and servant leader, Dave is an expert on all aspects of running and leading campus organizations and developing the character of a servant leader. Dave has 20+ years training leaders and advisors from Student Government Associations, Campus Activities Boards and campus clubs of every kind on Campus Organization Leadership and Community Service Projects. He has trained students and advisors at more than 140 different colleges and universities and is the national coordinator for the APCA Serves! Initiative by the Association for the Promotion of Campus Activities.

Building Leaders Through Service® (BLTS) is a program designed to instill in students a life-long commitment to community service involvement, servant leadership, service learning, and personal development.

BLTS revolves around Dave’s personal experience that leadership can be developed through the commitment to public life, a sense of civic responsibility and learning to serve others. This fun and highly interactive session will show you how to engage your campus in leaders in a different, fun, and meaningful way!

In this highly interactive training and hands-on session your students will connect with the concept of being a servant leader. They will also learn that “little things mean a lot” and that community service can become second nature to them. Lastly, they will be asked to make a commitment to serving others in ways of importance to them.
