		<description><![CDATA[Building Leaders Through Service® is a service learning experience designed to further the personal development of students and provide for a practical application of learned skills through community service involvement. This experiential program will aid in student success on your campus and it is also an outstanding way to engage new students on your campus. The first part of the program is a three-hour leadership training program that covers a variety of important skills and traits that effective servant leaders possess, such as listening, accepting responsibility, putting others above self, and creating a lifetime commitment to others. The second part of the program engages students in activities designed to further their leadership development. ]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[Tom Baker has spent his entire life coaching, training, and mentoring others. In this program he shares with your students the strategies for empowering others, training future leaders, and coordinating mentoring programs. When Tom graduated from college the first group he became involved with was Big Brothers Big Sisters. Today, his little brother is a sophomore in college and Tom serves as the Vice President of Programs for BBBS of Greater Pittsburgh. Based on his own experiences as both a mentor and mentee, Tom discusses the need to educate, involve, and inspire others through thoughtful guidance as an essential piece to being an effective leader.]]></description>
