Over the past two decades Millicent has been formally trained in a plethora of accelerative learning and human development technologies including the PhotoReading Whole Mind System, HeartMath Technologies, Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP), Hypnotherapy, and Clinical Pastoral Counseling. In addition she’s studied human resources and psychology at Mercer University and has accumulated hundreds of hours of supplemental training in the fields of Accelerative Learning and Human Development Technologies.

Millicent teaches Accelerative Learning skills, and she practices what she preaches by incorporating decades of research, development and classroom tested methods into her trainings. Her Accelerative Learning training programs always introduce breakthrough discoveries in neural and cognitive sciences. Her goal is to deliver learner-centered programs that are better, faster, and more enjoyable than traditional teacher/lecture-centered trainings.

Millicent has been a licensed and certified PhotoReading instructor since 2002 and has emerged as a leader within this elite group of less than 150 instructors worldwide. Through her effective training style and by dedicated adherence to the program materials, Millicent has effectively trained hundreds of executives, managers, students, educators and everyday people to use PhotoReading Whole Mind system. As a result, she has become one of the most successful instructors and conducts numerous public and private PhotoReading seminars around the United States each year. In addition, as one of three International Master Certifying Instructors, she is responsible for training new instructors worldwide.

One of Millicent’s strengths as a teacher/trainer is her ability to weave her numerous accelerative learning and human development disciplines into programs, sessions and conversations that resonate with her audiences. Both Millicent and the work of accelerative learning speak to the whole learner – and the whole person. Millicent’s animated, friendly and insightful manner is a perfect match for the ‘out-of-the-box’ permissions that accelerative learning gives both teacher and the learner. Her classes are lively, energetic and highly interactive in a way that means executives, managers, professionals, educators, and students learn more, learn faster, know how to apply their new knowledge and have fun doing it.

Millicent teases that she is a GHB – a growing human being, and she models excellence as a life-long learner by being involved in continuous personal and professional development. Most recently she was trained at the Institute of HeartMath as a Resilient Educator, certifying her to deliver HeartMath programs to educators, and incorporating its principles into her work. Millicent believes that, “HeartMath is a key component in the learning process. Its practice reduces stress and creates coherence between the heart and brain. It opens students up to innate capabilities that were previously inaccessible to them and activates higher order thinking, problem solving and a joy for learning.”
