In his “You Are The Captain of Your Ship” series of programs, Robert Landau draws upon material and tools from his decades of experience as an International Cruise Director and Cruise Activities Programming Specialist. His Orientation Cruise is an interactive learning activity that is both a fun and results-oriented experience. The program is filled with activities that will help students meet new friends, feel welcome on campus, make their new campus their new home and embrace all aspects of life on campus. Students will learn that they can achieve anything they want in their college life if they are in control and proactive – when they are “the captain of their ship!”
Although not an actual cruise, Robert simulates the cruise environment and takes students on a figurative cruise without ever leaving campus. They’ll experience and resolve specific challenges along the way by visiting various ‘ports of call’ and participating in ‘onboard activities.’ Because Robert is also a Nationally Certified Life Coach & Positive Results Expert, the end result of the cruise is that students will have the tools they need to succed on campus this semester. They’ll leave the Orientation Cruise exhilarated, motivated and in possession of what it takes to make their time on campus (and beyond) a raging success!
Drawing from totally unique personal experiences that include 300 ports of call on 400 world-wide cruises, Robert shares stories, experiences and results from managing and leading activities for all kinds of people, from all walks of life and from almost every country on the globe.
