Confounded by your lover’s actions? Feel like you just made a wrong turn? You might need a LiSENSE 2 DATE. In this program, participants will find out how to read the signs, follow the rules of the road and avoid getting car-jacked. Dr. Torri “Love” Griffin, the College Love Coach, teaches students how to use common SENSE to remove the NONSENSE so that relationships make SENSE. Drivers learn how to use their internal navigation systems to arrive safely at their destinations; how to recognize the signs that point to danger ahead; and when to take a vehicle off the road to obtain much-needed maintenance. Participants will get their Learner’s Permit and enjoy the satisfaction of knowing they’re safe on the road to great relationships.

- Use their internal navigation system to guide them into and through fun, enjoyable and beneficial relationships
- Recognize, read and respond to important signs given by partners in relationships and avoid sudden, shocking surprises.
- Use a checklist to determine whether a partner is attempting to highjack their vehicle or simply hitch hike—so they can strategize to remove these leeches and gold diggers
- Safely handle dark and lonely streets and situations that often lead to unwanted sexual involvement.
- Avoid becoming a date rape or relationship abuse statistic
- Keep their eyes on their academics while enjoying satisfying dating relationships
- Recognize road rage in the rear view mirror and manage conflict with control
- Know what to do if they get hit by another vehicle to avoid the cycle of abuse
- Successfully turn things around when they find out that they’re heading in the wrong direction on a one way street
- Know what to do when their ‘check engine’ light comes on
- Learn how to use their brakes and pace themselves when things get slippery
- Take themselves off the market until needed repair work is done from a previous, painful encounter
- Get repaired from prior clashes and crashes and prevent themselves from hauling unnecessary baggage behind their vehicle
- Know what to do when they see such road signs as the stop sign, yield sign, merge sign, traffic light, dead end street sign, no U-turn sign, children playing sign, road work ahead sign, slow sign, pedestrian crossing sign, slippery when wet sign and more.
